Capitol Focus Looks at Environment, Energy

The chair and vice chair of the Senate Committee on Energy and Environment discuss issues before their committee with the executive director of Life of the Land on the latest edition of Capitol Focus, to be broadcast Thursday, April 15 at 8:30 p.m. on 'Olelo Community Television channel 54.

Committee chair Sen. J. Kalani English (D-6th, E. Maui, Moloka'i, Lana'i, Kaho'olawe), vice chair Sen. Russell Kokobun (D-2nd, S. Hilo, Puna, Ka'u), and Life of the Land's Henry Curtis conduct a half-hour panel discussion that addresses such topics as renewable energy, invasive species, Hawaii's dependence on imported fuels, and bioprospecting.

Capitol Focus is broadcast Thursdays at 8:30 on 'Olelo and rebroadcast throughout the week on Neighbor Island community television outlets Ho'ike (Kauai), Akaku, (Maui), and Na Leo 'O Hawaii on the Big Island.
